Vantage details cars on site, so the phone is never where the work is
Vantage Car Wash & Detailing is a Calgary mobile detailer: the work happens wherever the car is already parked, with a vacuum or a pressure washer running. We are building its receptionist now, and no figures are published on this page yet.
Vantage Car Wash & DetailingBoth hands already on the car
The business
Vantage is a Calgary mobile detailer: the shop travels to the car, and every job is a different address.
Mobile detailing means the work happens where the vehicle already is (a driveway, a parkade, an office lot) and every one of those is a different set-up. The washing, vacuuming and polishing still take the hours they take; what is missing is the room they would otherwise happen in. There is no bay, no counter, and nobody standing at one.
The constraint
The calls arrive mid-job, in somebody else's driveway, over a running vacuum.
A mobile detailer is the technician, the driver and the phone. The calls are people asking what a detail costs and when they can get in, and they land in the middle of the job that is already being paid for.
Both hands are on the car
Washing, vacuuming and correcting paint are continuous two-handed jobs. There is no pause in the middle of one where a call can be taken without costing the customer whose car it is.
Every job is a different address
Mobile work adds set-up, teardown and the drive between sites. The hours that are not spent on a vehicle are spent getting to the next one, which is the other half of the day nobody can answer in.
A price question has a shelf life
Somebody phoning around for a detail is comparing shops in an afternoon. The one that answers gets to have the conversation; the one that rings out is not in it.
What we are building
Scripted to one detailer, tested against its awkward calls, measured from the first one.
An AnswerAI receptionist is scripted and tuned against one business: its services, its hours, its prices, and the questions it does and does not want answered on its behalf. That work takes about two weeks end to end.
Scripted to the shop
Packages, hours and the rules about what may be quoted on a call are the input. Every build starts there rather than with a template.
Tested before it takes a call
The line is run against the awkward calls (the unusual request, the price question with a condition attached) before it is pointed at a real number.
The two weeks this describes are set out step by step: how a build runs.
The numbers
Four figures go here when the window closes.
No measurement window has opened for Vantage yet, so there is nothing to publish.
Coming soon
The same four figures every AnswerAI case publishes, with the period and the scope they cover printed beside them.
- Calls answered, and over what window
- Answer rate across that window
- What the callers actually wanted
- Average conversation length
A mobile detailer has no front desk for a call to land on; the phone rings in somebody else's driveway, over a running vacuum, mid-job.
Questions about this build
Not yet: results are coming soon. Vantage is a Calgary mobile detailer we are currently building a receptionist for, and nothing has been measured or published for it yet.
Because the work is continuous, two-handed and happening at the customer's address rather than at a shop with a counter. A technician mid-wash with a vacuum running has no free hand, and the hours between jobs are spent driving to the next address.
When the measurement window closes. No date is published because none is set yet.
Sucré Body Sugaring & Medical and Lammer Enterprises, both in Calgary. Each publishes its figures with the window and the scope those figures cover stated alongside them.
